Ed's Sketch December 2013 - I want to remember.

Hi! It's me again! Lol! I'm going to share another layout with you. It's a layout for Ed's Sketch, Got Stamps? I was in a hiatus & dear Edleen is kind enough to let me to take a break. So I'm back!!

Ok here is the December sketch.
We are required to use any circular stamps on the layout.

Here is my take on the sketch.

I made a very simple layout! :) As the pattern paper is already beautiful~ Again, the PP is from Prima, Divine Collection, Canzone. The photo mat (I can't remember what collection is that pp!) I punched the edges using Martha Stewart Punch.

I used stamps from Prima Cling Stamps, Life Time Collection (first left), Teresa Collins Clear Stamps, Timeless (the  2 clock in the middle) & the last one is, I'm not sure what is the name of the collection as I lost the packaging! sigh!

The title is from the same Teresa Collins Clear Stamps, Timeless Collection. Oh I used the Jet Black Staz-On ink pad.

So that's all about it! Lol! Simple right?

FSFS December Challenge Day 3 - White on white.

Hi! Here I am for the FSFS 3rd December Challenge! It's WHITE ON WHITE. :)

Actually I have no idea what to do with this theme...So...until the very last minute (yes, last night!) I created this layout!! :D

As you can see, I used a white CS. I put a Prima PP on top of it (believe me it's a leftover!) the Lyric Collections. I punched the edges using Martha Stewart Punch. I put 3 different sizes of doilies, & put my wedding picture! Voila! Lol! I also punched the edges of my picture using the Lucky 8 Punch.

Here I arranged the mulberry flowers of different sizes & types but one colour, WHITE! Put some cute crystal (fake) & some rhinestones from Jolee's Boutique.

This white foam heart is from American Crafts (I got it like 2 years ago!), I put some glue & sprinkle the Stickles Dry Fine Glitter in Diamond.

So, what are you waiting for? Go stalk the challenge blog, here!

Thanks for looking. :)

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for our last challenge of December.

P/s: the DT call is still open :)

FSFS December Challenge Day 2 - Chevron.

Hello again~ This is FSFS December Challenge Day 2 hosted by Klavu & the theme is Chevron!

Simple chevron tag.

This is my simple tag using chevron PP (Prima Marketing - Lady Bird Collection - Terrace), My Mind's Eye Washi Tapes (Black & Red) & Glitz washi tape. The flower is from Prima too. I punched PP Prima Lyric Collection using Martha Stewart Border Punch, I sprayed it using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Chalkboard (Teal High Heel) & finally put a teal flower (from Prima too). That heart shape PP is from my old collection 2-3 years back, sorry I don't remember it's brand!

Please do join our challenge here.

Thanks for looking ;)

P/s: there is still ongoing DT call.

Love layout & Hello phone book~

Hello everyone~ Sorry I've been missing for a couple of weeks! Yikes!! I've been busy as usual...well busier than usual. Still no maid! Maybe by this weekend she'll be here...I hope so.

Anyway, today I'm going to share with you a layout & an altered notebook :)

I was supposed to share this layout on the 15th for my blog challenge but for the above reason, it was delayed!

Mostly, I used Prima Marketing products on this layout :) The PP is from the Lyrics Collection, the big flower charm from Sunrise Sunset Vintage Trinkets. The silver flowers also from Suns. I used Fairy Rhymes Collection for the frame dies.

Oh I forgot to tell that frame die is from Tim Holtz - Sizzix Bigz Die Ornate Frame. I love this die!! Love, love, love this frame die!! The textured background I used Prima Mask - Lattice 6x6. I put gesso & let it dry then I painted the Viva Decor Inka-Gold in Old Gold.

That gold glittery swirl chipboard is from Maya Road. Those mini charms, leaves, small flowers, small heart & small butterfly are from Jolee Boutique. I bought the Key Charm from Jadyn's Art n Craft.

Oh I put some pearl strings underneath that big flower vintage trinket. I put a crystal button (well plastic, not real crystal) on top of the flower vintage trinket.

I don't know the brand of that pink with white heart washi tape. Do you see those 3 cute mulberry flowers? I bought it from Jadyn's Arts n Craft too! That corner die is from Joy! Craft Cut & Emboss Dies - French Lily Corner 2.

I don't remember which stamp collection that I used for this little frame. Sigh.... That Love wood chip is from Freckled Fawn.

Next is an altered notebook I made from a box. So basically I recycled the box :)

The rub-on are from Pink Paislee, Cottage Farms Collection. That hand charm from Jolee Boutique. If That 'hello' wood chip is from Freckled Fawn.

That metal charms I bought from Jadyn's Art n Craft. That washi tape is from Teresa Collins, He Said She Said Collection.

The side view of the notebook. Oh, the reason I put hello in front of it is to make this small notebook for phone numbers! Lol! I know it's a bit old school, but I decided I wanted one! Just in case, my handphone is low batt, I couldn't find my handphone, I can just look at the numbers & dial it! As you all know, with the modern technology we tend to forget the phone numbers. I really missed those all those when you have to memorise all phone numbers by heart. ;)

This two items are made especially for my blog challenge, FSFS. For November, the challenge is Anything Goes by me. You can find the details about this challenge here.

Thanks for looking :)

FSFS October Challenge - Norah Jones' Everybody Needs A Bestfriend.

Hello~ I'm back! :)

I wanted to share my latest layout for my blog challenge, FSFS (From Scrappers For Scrappers).
For October Challenge, Klavu hosted the challenge, which is a very simple one! Just do anything based on Norah Jones' song Everybody Needs A Bestfriend. :) Easy right? I must admit I enjoyed making this layout :)

I literally use the title of the song :)

I used Carta Bella PP, Happy Thoughts from Beautiful Moments Collection. I punched the corner of the PP using the 8 Lucky Punch (the small size). I attached it on a brown CS.

I used Sizzix Wingo Zingo Alphabets for the title.

The scallop is from Sizzix Hello Kitty Scallops dies. Put washi tape on top of it (can't remember the brand!). I purposely left some space so that I can jot down some journal on it ;)

The square papers were leftovers from the punched corner PP!! I didn't want to throw it away, I decided to embellish it by brushing some Viva Inka-Gold (Old Gold) on the edges & put charms on each of it. Voila!! I sprayed the front doily using Glimmer Mist (Cadillac Pink) & brushed Silks Acrylic Glaze (Carmen) on the other doily. I painted the Resist Canvas from Prima Marketing using the same Silks Acrylic Glaze (Carmen) & Viva Inka-Gold (Old Gold). I even brushed some Viva on the edges of the CS & scallops border.

So what do you think of my layout?
Thanks for looking & don't forget to join our October Challenge! The DT Call is still open, you may try your luck ;)

FSFS August Challenge - Blue & Pink (Girly)

Hello dear readers & bloggers out there~ How are you all?

Today, I'm going to share you a late post of my layout for FSFS - August 2013 (Blue & Pink - Girly).

I used Teresa Collins' PP, the background is Sweet Afternoon: Going Downtown Paper & the blue flower pp is from Memories collection. I don't remember the brand of the washi tape. Ribbons from American Craft. I stamped the swirl using Candi Stamps & put Candi (the pale & deep pink circles) on top of it. The mulberry flowers were actually white but I used Perfect Pearl Mist, Pink Gumball & painted blue by Silks Acrylic Glaze, Moonbeams.

DT Call for FSFS is still open. Actually we have a new member joining our team this month!! Hooray!! You can look at the challenge blog, her name is Aunty Eng.

Anyway, thanks for looking :)

Ed's Sketch August 2013 - Holding Hands

Assalamualaikum & hello to everyone~ Here I am going to share with you my DT work for Ed's Sketch, Got Stamp? For this August Sketch, we are required to incorporate with any sentiment stamps.

August Sketch~ I really like it's simplicity.

My take on the sketch.

Holding Hands

Oh I love how it turned out!

I used Sizzix Sizzlit Bird & Butterflies Set (on the left) & that Layered Butterfly from Wplus9 (I'm beginning to love this company products!). I dabbed Snow Cap Adirondack Dabber as clouds. The titled stickers, Love Note Sticker Fundamentals are from Fancy Pants Designs. I brushed the Old Silver Viva Decor Inka-Gold on that butterflies & tag. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!! Actually I brushed the viva on a plain paper then stamped the tag (Kaisercraft) & sentiment (Ali Edwards) on it. Love that shimmering & glittering effect! The cute resin frame is from Webster's Pages.

I put Mask Vintage Lace by Christy Tomlinson Pink Paislee & smeared gesso with those Nutella spoon! Lol! I taped Pebbles Washi tapes, cute right?? I glued some laces & ribbons & put picture on top & on the upper corner of the picture is a heart charm that I just bought recently from Jadyn's ArtsNCrafts! I glued a piece of PP behind the charm & cut following the heart shaped charm, so that the charm kind of 'pop up a little bit'. I have to say I love the charms!!

I must say I love my simple layout :)

Thanks for looking ;)
