Sisters Forever & Always

Hello again~

I just want to share my layout that I made since Tuesday. I just finished it yesterday. It's a simple layout, I love these pictures of my adorable daughters that I couldn't resist printed it & scrapped it away~ Lol!

Ok here is the layout.

I asked my husband took these pictures on 21st September 2014. Luckily my girls are cooperative! Hahahaha...You can see my little one started counting off her fingers in picture 6! :D but the final picture is my favourite, that I had to put some cut out butterflies on top of it as if they were looking at it.

I used Graphic45, Sweet Sentiments Collection. Actually the theme is not suitable for me as it's about spring, valentine & easter but they are so adorable. So what I did, I improvised by cutting the unnecessary parts ;)

Can you see that lovely doily cut out? It's a die cut from La-La Land Crafts. It's beautiful right?
The border mat of the picture I punched using the EK Punch.

The sticker life is wonderful is from Pebbles Inc (an old collection of mine haha). The glittery gold chipboard is from Making Memories (Shimmer Flourish Chipboard).

The red stickers are from Prima. Heart shaped washi tape I don't remember from which brand.

Thanks for looking.

My Beautiful Girl (Sept Inspiration)

Assalamualaikum~ Hello everyone~

This is a late post, as usual I need to share my Inspiration piece for Dragons Lair Design.

My Beautiful Girl

For this month, we are required to use the same kit, Southern Comfort Collection. It's really amazing to see what we can come up differently using the same kit!

I was browsing my old pictures & found this beautiful picture of my eldest daughter when she was still 2 years. :) I love this picture of her & coincidentally this kit is really a good match for it. So here it is. My beautiful girl~ digital layout.

Thanks for looking ;)

Rare Beautiful Moment

Hello! Assalamualaikum. Today I'm going to share a digital layout that I made for Stamping With The Dragon

This month theme is 'Anything But Card' which means you can create anything as long as IT IS NOT A CARD! Yeay!!

So, I created this digital layout
'Rare Beautiful Moment'.

I used Passionately Paisley Collection (it's a digital kit & I'm sorry I couldn't find the link in the shop) & Vintage Garden Clock. ;) As I told you before, you'll see that I'll be using this Paisley collection in my creation.

As usual I used Photoshop Elements to digital scrap. The hardest part in this layout was when I try to edit the Vintage Garden Clock. I need to layering it to have the desired effect that I want.

This beautiful picture was taken last month. It's very rare for my uncle (my mother's big brother & her only sibling) & his family to come to Brunei during special celebration (Eid Al-Fitri) like this. So we took this opportunity to take many pictures together!!

You can use any product as long as you follow the theme. But if you want to use any Dragon product, you can find something you like on this shop, The Crafting Dragon.

A Simple Hybrid Layout

Hello everyone. I almost forgot to share this hybrid layout of mine that I made for August Inspiration on The Dragons Den.

Tada~

I used Passionately Paisley & Circular Floral Frame for this hybrid layout. I scrapped using Photoshop & printed it out roughly 5"x5" (or was it a bit smaller?) & put it on 6"x6" pink cardstock. I put a doily behind the printed paper & embellished it away. I put a white butterfly lace & spread some pink & purple stickles to match it with the overall colours. I put an embellished purple flower, put a white ribbon underneath it & some lovely pearls. Voila! A very simple hybrid layout which everyone can make.

I really love this picture of my little girl. This picture was taken during our short vacation (this past June in Miri) when we were having our breakfast. Isn't she adorable?? :) Ok that's all for today. So if you want to shop some digi stuffs, please do head to this shop, The Crafting Dragon. There are so many wonderful stuffs!

Thanks for looking. ;)

A very very late night of productivity by both my girls!

Assalamualaikum. Hello everyone~ It's been a long time I didn't update you all about my girls :) so for today, I decided to share pictures of my daughters being productive very late last night.

Yes, they didn't want to sleep yet as my big girl kept nagging me to make the lion mask. Well it was my fault! I was bringing a lion mask that I made yesterday with my preschoolers with the intention to make it with her during free time but she kept nagging me & insisted to make it! So I granted her 'wish' last night since both of them were still wide awake!! Ugghhh.... Luckily today is Sunday!

Ok here are the pictures;

My little girl decided to get busy too! So I gave her some pen & book to scribble :D while her sister was busy doing the mask.

Tada! The finished mask for my big girl! She was really happy & proud of her mask :) Phew.. I was very tired since yesterday was my 'first day of the month' hahaha..so it was quiet annoying with these mood swing. *rant over*

Thanks for looking :) maybe I'll show the steps to make this mask, but I don't think that's necessary since it's very very easy. :) I promise, I'll try to update more about crafts by my girls & preschoolers. Oh how I missed updating about their craftiness. See ya~

Hello all~ I'm going to share with you a second digital layout that I made for Stamping With The Dragon for August Challenge with the theme, Sun, Sea & Sand. I was supposed to post this layout on Friday but due to some technical problems & we are still in the middle of Eid Celebration, I couldn't post it on time. So here it is.

Baby Splash!!

I used

I just created a simple digital layout for this theme.

The picture was taken on February this year. That was my little girl first time in the pool! She was having fun & didn't want to get out of the pool! Lol!

Resilient Award - My Inspiration for Stamping Dragons Den.

Hi & Assalamualaikum all. Today I'm going to share a digital layout that I made for Stamping Dragons Den for inspiration. As a part of the SDD DT we are required to make something every month for the challenge blog & create something for the sister's blog. As today is my turn, I decided to make a digital layout as my first inspiration.

Resilient Award

I really love this picture of us together & decided to digital scrap it! :)

The items that I used here are:
(Both Rustic & Pastel Swirl kits are no longer available at SDD but you still can find it at  CUP).
Except the frame & vintage flowers I got free from the internet (sorry I couldn't remember from which websites).

Ok, to tell you the truth, I totally didn't expect my first daughter to get an award! I'm not saying that it's impossible but I'm being realistic :) I know my children ability (for me she's a good kid which is wonderful to me already). I was picking up my daughter from school (usually my husband pick her up as I'm a teacher, I can't go out all the time, I'm sure you understand that.). Ok, I find it hard to tell the conversation by telling it as a 3rd party! So I just try to remember our conversation & tada~ TM stands for Teacher Maureen & M stands for Maya (yes, that's me).

TM: 'When is our slot for the PTM?'
M: 'It's in the morning, teacher.'
TM: 'Oh, can we change it into afternoon?'
M: 'Why teacher?'
TM: 'Maisarah got an award, so it's better for the meeting in the afternoon too, after that there'll be an award presentation.'
M: 'Really? What award did she get?'
TM: 'Resilient Award.'
M: 'What is that?' (I know what resilient means but I have to ask just to make sure! Lol!)
TM: 'It's means she's hardworking & never give up.'
M: 'Wow! Good job!' *kiss my girl*

So on Friday, we met the teacher at 2.15 pm in her classroom. I asked Teacher Maureen, how do the teachers decide which kids got the award? She explained every term, there'll be 2 kids from each class to get the award. For every term, the kids will be different. I find it's a very good idea, so the kids will be feeling appreciated & humble at the same time. I mean what's the point if the same kid get the award for every term? I'm glad that Maisarah got this Resilient Award. I'm so proud of her when her teacher said, when she was given a task, she'll make it until she can really do it which means 'never give up'. I hope she'll apply 'never give up' term in her real life when she's grown. May Allah bless my children.

So here is the story behind this beautiful picture of us together. So here is the beautiful layout I created especially for this beautiful reason :)

If you have create a digital layout using SDD collection, please do share with us. I'm sure many of you can create beautiful layouts than me. :)

Thanks for looking.

My girl's first official layout :)

Assalamualaikum, hi all. Today, I want to share a layout made by my big girl.

Ta-da!

I just let her chose her own pp. Initially she chose other pp but when she saw this polka dot, she immediately want this one! This pattern paper is from Echo Park Paper - Dots & Stripes Collection (Very Cherry Tiny Dot). Then I showed her my doilies, she chose these 2 & arranged it on the pp. Then I asked her where did she want to put her picture, she placed it on the middle! Amazing! After I glued those doilies & picture (yes, I was her 'hands' lol!, she was the mastermind!) I showed her my washi tapes, she chose the musical notes. As usual I asked her where she wanted to put those washi tapes, she said on top & below of her picture! Girl sure know her way to scrap! Then the rest are history. I just show some of my things & she put here & there with a little bit of my guidance (especially when she put the heart glitter stickers somewhere on the dots, I immediately told her, it's more lovely if she put them on some place she can see! She agreed & put it on the doilies).

I'm so proud of her! What is missing in the layout are the title & journal, which I don't care since this was her first time. I'll teach her when she's an expert on scrapping her own. For now, just let her creativity flow :)

Thanks for looking. Don't forget to come back here on 23rd July 2014, I have something to show you all. I can't hardly wait to show it but everything is on schedule, all I can do now is wait. See you!

I'm a part of Stamping Dragon Designs Team!

Hello~ As you can read from my post title, I'M OFFICIALLY ONE OF THE DRAGON GIRLS!! Hoorayyyy!!!! I'm one of the SDD Team (Stamping with the Dragon Design Team).

I just tried my luck, knowing many talented people out there applied for the DT. Guess, it's my luck then to be a part of the Design Team. I must tell you I absolutely love working with digital image. :) That's why I applied :)

Ok, I was contacted 3 days ago & Marleen told me the great news! Oh I'm so happy!! :D
Alhamdulillah, it's really my luck :)

As one of the DT, we are required to make 2 projects for each month. Coincidentally, the first project/challenge will be post on first Friday of every month. So, it's a bit short notice (dearest Marleen & Janette however ask us not to rush & we don't have to make it, bless them), but I managed to make it!!! Yeaahhh!!!

The challenge for this July is, oh yes, my first work, lol! Oh, ok the first challenge is to make an easel card. I was like, oh how to make one?? I never make one? So I googled & found this simple easel card tutorial.

I coloured the image digitally using photoshop. Then I put a circle frame around it (it's from My Grafico). Behind the image are the washi tape from BoBunny - Primrose Washi Tape. The pearls on the corners are from Prima - Lyric Collection. I put some cute mulberry flowers on the corners & top of the image. I put a big button from Making Memories Blossom & Button Jar Rouge Paperie (it's an old collection) which I tied it with twine from We R Memory Keepers. The big button act like a stopper so the card will not slide! Lol! Oh I put a doily to pretty up the card :)

Isn't the image lovely? It's called Spring Beauty, you can find more images on this shop, The Crafting Dragon.

Altered Tin & Welcome Little One (Digital SB).

Hi again :) Today I'm going to share an altered tin. It's my first time, so please be kind to me! Lol! :) I also share a digital layout that I made especially for my brother-in-law & wife.

Tada!! My first attempt on tin altering!

The pp was White On Kraft Damask by Canvas Corp. Isn't it lovely??

That beautiful lace is from Prima! The washi tape on the edge of the tin are from Record It! - My Mind's Eye collection. Buttons from my own collection.

The golden glittery chipboards are from Shimmer Flourish Chipboard - Making Memories.

The polka dot on gold washi tape is also from Record It! - My Mind's Eye collection.

All are mulberry flowers (no brand) except the dark golden ones are from Sunrise Sunset - Prima Collection which i put on top of the white flowers & I topped it with some pearl :) Pins are also from my own collection.

Now, here I present you my digital layout.

Welcome little one

I used Oh Baby digital sb collection. I don't know which shop but I think I bought it from A5D which was closed now!! Boohoo no more A5D shop :( I love buying the digital sb there!!

This baby girl is my husband first niece. So he's officially an uncle!! Hahaha...Since we are the first among his siblings who got married so our girls are the first grandchild from my husband's side. This picture was taken when she was 2 days old. She's really cute! I'll try to update her latest picture here together with my girls ;)

My Long Overdue Layout!!! I'm Finally Back!!

Assalamualaikum & hello all! :) It's been a long time I didn't blog!
Here I am with an overdue layout. Lol! :)

Aren't they adorable? This picture was taken last year. We were in the car, Maisarah (big daughter) was sleeping next to Mardhiyah (on a small cushion that we purposely put in the car). Then after a few minutes, Mardhiyah (my little one) was sleeping too & slowly her head leaned to her sister's head. I had to take this precious moment! So clicked, clicked! Using my handphone ;)

I actually made the background on February or March this year. But i never have time to get back to it...Talking about time constraint..sigh.. Anyway, I used stencils, the heart shapes from Heidi Swapp & the wordings from Prima (of course using Gesso). After that I brushed some Viva Decor Ink Gold in Violet on the wording gesso. I brushed Silk Acrylic Glaze in Moonbeams & Plumeria on the heart shapes gesso. The paper was from  Kaiser Kraft, True Romance Collection.

I put some blings & pearl (non-brand one) on the pictures. I also put the heart shapes & lips washi tapes as borders of the picture.

These pretty collectables are from a new collection of KaiserCraft, Violet Crush Collection.

Pretty mulberry flowers stacked & on top I put a cute heart shape charm (I got it (well a dozen i think) as a gift from one of my scrapper buddies).

I glued twine (We R Memory Keeper) behind this quote (a collectable from Violet Crush) in a not perfect heart shape.

I stamped the frame which is from Violet Crush Stamp Collection too. I wrote down a simple journal.

Later I'll be working on my overdue layouts too since it's school holidays...hahaha...I think I have about 6-7 unfinished business!! Thanks for coming back & thanks for looking too :)

Mardhiyah's 1st Birthday & Art Journal Caravan 2014.

Hello~ Here I am~ I'm going to share a digital layout.

Birthday Girl!

This digital collection is from Vignette by Sherwood Studio (Scrapbookgraphics). I really love this collection. You'll definitely seeing this collection over & over again! Lol!

I decided to be more creative this year by joining several classes/forum. I was intrigued by this Digital Art Journal that I decided to buy the class & joined the forum (Art Journal Caravan 2014 by Tangie Baxter - at Scrapbookgraphics).

Our first assignment was to find ONE word, that I chose ENJOY & we were required to create a digital stamp (or even a physical one if you want to) & use it on your digital art journal (or real art journal). Here is my digital stamp & my first assignment 'A Letter To Myself'. Actually I supposed to share with you this on the early January but it slipped from my mind! Oopss!!

My personalised digital stamp.

Where is my personalised digital stamp here?? :D

So what do you think? Thanks for looking :)

P/s: Hopefully, I'll be able to share with you more of my creations this year :)
