May Sketch - Vacation 2013 - Ed's Sketch.

Hello everyone.

I'm sorry that I posted this layout late. For the month of May, in Ed's Sketch, Got Stamp? we are required to stamp the background paper.

I forgot that I had these pictures printed early last year! Imagine my horror!!! Noooo... Hahahaha...
Anyway we had our vacation at Kuala Lumpur in December 2013, that was my little girl first vacation.

I used Basic Grey PP, the old collection called Porcelain. I love the pattern that I decided to stamp some images on it which blend quite well! I love it! I used clear stamps from Prima (the frame & bee stamps) & Kaisercraft (Arty & Kaleidoscope). I used rubber cling stamps from TPC Studio (the beautiful borders). I put some washi tapes, Bo Bunny (butterfly) & My Mind Eyes (Charmed) on top of the stamp images. Oh I also included a die cut from Kaisercraft (the green one).

This is so far my most simplest layout but I'm loving it :)

Thanks for looking & don't forget to join us ;)

Best Friends layout.

Hi again!! *wave* Hehehe...this is my second post for today! Well, last, I promise!

Ok here is my second layout.

This is the first time I scrapped about my 2 best friends since Uni year :) It was a luxury for us to meet like this...As we are busy with our own family so it's kind of hard to find time for ourselves to be together like this. Last Monday, 6th April 2015, we finally had our lunch date :)

I used Webster's Pages - Alison Kreft Designs - Composition & Colour Collection. The crown paper clip is also from Webster's Pages.

Hidden journal using the pocket (also Webster's Pages). Washi tapes from My Mind's Eye (all things chalk & record it!) but the dark blue one, I don't know from which brand.

The stamped sentiment on the tag is from Prima (Lyric Collection). Put some little mulberry flowers on the tag too. The arrows chipboards are from Maya Road.

Remember the molding paste I used on my previous layout? I used on this layout too using Prima mask/stencil too & as usual I brushed Viva Decor Inka-Gold in Old Gold. I must confess I love this colour so much! The blue lace is also from Webster's Pages (I told you most of the items here are from Webster's Pages). The stamped title is from Kaisercraft, Friendship Sentiments Clear Stamp.

For this layout, I enter it for a scrapbook challenge by Let's Get Sketchy. Initially, I wanted to try for the DT Call...but time is too short for me (I just found out it a day before the DT dateline), so I just decided to join the challenge instead. You can have a look at this month challenge here.

Thanks for looking :)

KG2A 2014 - paper layout

Assalamualaikum & hello all~
Hope everyone is fine :)

Today I'm going to share a layout that is so special to me.
I scrapped an official picture of my big girl in her KG2A last year.

I used Prima PP, Divine Collection (2013). Actually I wanted to use the black PP with words (as you can see I put behind her picture) but I lost to both of my girls (yes, the little one too) as they both chose this beautiful PP as the background! Hahaha... I always try to include them in my scrapbooking especially my big girl. I always ask her opinion, is this ok? Which one is better? This one or this one? Are you sure? Hahaha... yes, all those question will be answered by her honestly.. I love her!

I used Prima flowers too (an old collection too!). The cut-out flower PP, the mat of the picture (with report look) is from Melissa France, (Classic Elegance). I used both side. I enhanced the flowers with Viva Gold in Old Gold, the result is beautiful! As you can see there is a die cut fancy floral corner it's from Cottage Cutz. Both leaf & diamond pins are from Maya Road.

Do you see that embossed thingy behind the title? Yay!! Finally I used my Light Molding Paste! Hahaha...I know, I know!! That beautiful stencil/mask is from Prima also. The washi tape with words is from My Mind's Eye. I used Banana Frog stamp & cut it to make the title for this layout. I didn't write any journal, as I found the picture already tell the story. :)

Ok, I'm going to enter this layout for a scrapbook challenge by Studio Tekturek. This month challenge is about flowers!! Coincidentally, I was surfing & my layout did contain flowers, so why not try it? :)

Raya '13 - Ed's Sketch April 2015

Assalamualaikum. Hello everyone~

Today I'm going to share a layout I made for my DT, Ed's Sketch.
For this month, April Sketch, we are required to use Tag stamp.

Here is my take.

These pictures were taken back in 2013 on the 3rd Hari Raya, my girl want to pose with her cousin Darwish.

I used an old collection of PP by We R Memory Keepers, White Out Collection (2008). I need to use up my old PP!! Hahaha...talking about being a paper hoarder! :p
I used Martha Stewart punch for that butterflies. I need to add more punch to my collection! Hahaha..
I also use twine from We R Memory Keepers.

I don't remember what is the brand of the tag stamps (I should label it! Damn it!), it was also an old collection of mine. I used washi tapes from Teresa Collins, Family Stories collection (the arrows), My Mind's Eye, Record It! collection (the white circles on blue tape) & that Polka Dot in Pink, I don't know what brand.

I hope you will join the challenge, just remember to use TAG STAMP & follow the sketch.

Insha-Allah, tomorrow, I'll share a layout that I'm currently working at.

Thanks for looking :)

Comot Tapi Comel (Dirty But Cute) layout.

Assalamualaikum& hello everyone :)

Today I'm going to share a layout that I scraplifted from this talented scrapbooker, Gabrielle Pollacco.

This is her layout (she made it back in 2013).

Isn't it beautiful??

I decided to scraplift it because of it's simple for me but beautifully done by her! I was so inspired that my layout doesn't look the same at all like hers! Only some element I followed that is the sketch Hahaha...

Ok, here is my take :)

I used Webster's Pages, Citrus Squeeze & Plum Seed Collection by Adrienne Looman :)

Those 2 flowers are from Prima. The other flower is from my mulberry flower collection. I put some doilies all around the layout. I clustered sequin around the flowers.

The heart & arrow washi are from My Mind's Eye, I don't remember the damask washi from what brand, I also don't remember the other thin washi from what brand. I die cut the PP using Tim Holtz Tags die cut. Put some pearls dangling under the flower bloom lace.

I decided to die cut the title using Webster's Pages PP too.. I know it's not that clear. The title is in Malay; Comot Tapi Comel which translated Dirty but Cute. I rarely use Malay title or journal, but in this case I simply love it in Malay :D

Thanks for looking :)

I like doing this & might do it again as I really need to improve my layout. To Gabrielle, thanks once again for your permission to use your layout as my inspiration. :) To Jaz, thanks for the wonderful friendship & of course advices ;)

Assalamualaikum & hello everyone :)

Today I'm going to share with you a paper layout & 2 digital layouts that I made this month.

First one was a sketch from Ed's Sketch as usual we are required to use the 'sun' stamp :)

My take on the sketch. I couldn't resist to scrap this cute photos of Mardhiyah! Hahaha... The PP is from an old collection of My Mind's Eye called Abbey Road. This year I'm trying to use my old pp as many as I can! ;) I'm so lazy to use my die cut to create the title I just printed it. I also printed the journal. So technically this layout is a hybrid.

The second layout is a digital layout. I bought this beautiful kit from Scrapbookgraphic, the kit called Mon Coeur by Studio Miki.

The third layout is from a digital collection called Oh Baby Mine. It's from the Stamping Dragon Designs. I decided to scrap an old picture of my girls.

Thanks for looking ;)

January 2015 - Ed's Sketch, Got Stamp?

Assalamualaikum. Hello all. Happy New Year 2015 :)

After a year long break from the Ed's Sketch team, I'm back! :)

For January 2015, you have to use clock stamp on your layout.

Ok this is my simple take for this new year, hahaha..

I used old pp collection! The maroon background from Daisy Paper, the one with country names Elsie (the blue strip is the back of this pp). I used some washi tapes, doily & blings all over my layout. The clock stamp is from Tim Holtz collection. I don't know the brand of that frame stamp. The date stamp is from Kaisercraft, Limelight collection.

Last year, in December, we went to Johor Bahru, Malaysia. As my husband promised my big girl that he would bring her to Legoland (remember that she got her Resilient Award? That was our reward for her). So this is a picture of us in front of Legoland. I think that's all for now. :)

P/s: This year, I'm trying to do the Project Life. So far, I managed to put all those pictures for Week 1 & Week 2 but didn't manage to finish to embellish it, write down the journal or even the title! Hahaha... So you have to wait for a while. I need to get into the groove of this PL~ See you next time!
